Guacamole has been put on a pedestal. And deservedly so, it’s great, no doubt. But it has a stigma as something you only order when you’re out at restaurants. This Easy Guacamole Recipe will change all that for you.

Time to spoil yourself without leaving the house 😉

Plus it makes the perfect noms for your summer barbecues, cookouts, and just the simple, friendly hangouts.

Or let’s be real, it’s to make by yourself with a Netflix series queued up for binge watching and binge guac’ing.

That means you can rock those sweatpants  and eat that whole bag of Tostitos without feeling the judgement of other restaurant patrons hearing you ask for that second basket of tortilla chips.

They’re just jealous anyway.

Alright, let’s get to work on making you a master home guacamole chef:

What’s In This Easy Guacamole Recipe?

Guacamole Recipe IngredientThe Core Guacamole Ingredients:

  1. Avocados
  2. Onion
  3. Garlic
  4. Cilantro
  5. Lemon Juice
  6. Salt
  7. Tomato (usually, but I don’t dig on that so it’s not in my easy guacamole recipe. One less ingredient = easier to make)

Now you can also get fancy and add in bacon, chipotle mayo, or some other creative concoctions to take your guacamole to the next level.

But for today’s recipe, we’ll keep it simple with the core ingredients needed to make guacamole at home.

How To Make Guacamole:

Roll up your sleeves, chef, it’s time to make the guacamole of your dreams!

  1. Add chopped onion, garlic, and cilantro to the food chopper and chop it up until fine-ish
  2. Slice up your avocados into squares and scoop them into the food chopper with salt and lime juice
  3. Chop until you get it to your desired texture
  4. Get the chips
  5. Devour

What To Eat With Your Homemade Guacamole? (No one is judging you here 😉 )

Normally you’ll get guac as a condiment on a burrito (yes, we know it’s extra) or with a basket of chips to soak up the tequila while indulging at your local taqueria.

When you make this guacamole at home though, you can eat it with whatever you want my friend!

Common tools for shoveling guacamole into your gullet are tortilla chips, chopped peppers, carrots…Honestly my 2 year old daughter eats it with her hands ?‍♂️ so pick your own poison and go to town.
